Service terms and conditions for air conditioning repair

1. Service Agreement

By requesting services from QaFi Pitukar, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our air conditioning repair services are provided subject to these terms, applicable laws, and industry standards in Malaysia.

2. Service Scope

QaFi Pitukar provides:

  • Air conditioning repair and maintenance services
  • Installation of new AC units and components
  • Emergency repair services (24/7 availability)
  • Duct cleaning and sanitization
  • Commercial and residential AC services

3. Pricing and Payment

Service pricing includes:

  • Diagnostic Fee: RM 80 for service calls (waived if repair is completed)
  • Labor Charges: Based on complexity and time required
  • Parts Cost: At manufacturer's recommended retail price
  • Emergency Surcharge: Additional 50% for after-hours service

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and major credit cards. Unpaid invoices may incur late payment charges of 1.5% per month.

4. Warranty Terms

We provide warranties on our services:

  • Labor Warranty: 12 months on all repair work
  • Parts Warranty: As per manufacturer's warranty terms
  • Installation Warranty: 24 months on new installations

Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, or external factors beyond our control.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide safe and accessible work environment
  • Ensure electrical supply is available for testing
  • Provide accurate information about AC problems
  • Be present during service or designate an authorized representative
  • Clear area around AC units for technician access

6. Scheduling and Cancellation

Service appointments:

  • Must be scheduled at least 2 hours in advance (except emergencies)
  • Can be rescheduled with 4 hours notice
  • Cancellations within 2 hours may incur a service call fee
  • Emergency services are subject to technician availability

7. Limitation of Liability

QaFi Pitukar's liability is limited to:

  • The cost of services provided
  • Direct damages resulting from our negligence
  • Maximum liability of RM 5,000 per incident

We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages. Our insurance covers professional liability and public liability as required by Malaysian law.

8. Intellectual Property

All service documentation, diagnostic reports, and technical recommendations remain the intellectual property of QaFi Pitukar. Customers receive a license to use this information for their specific AC system maintenance.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved through:

  • Direct negotiation with our customer service team
  • Mediation through the Malaysian Association of Air Conditioning Contractors
  • Arbitration under Malaysian law if mediation fails

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Customer information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010. We maintain confidentiality of all customer information and service details.

11. Force Majeure

QaFi Pitukar is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government actions, or supply chain disruptions.

12. Modifications

These terms may be updated periodically. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or website notice. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of updated terms.
